The room was huge, with strong water pressure and properly hot water any time of day. It was spotless, and staff came in to clean and replace the towels daily even though we told them it wasn't necessary. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, though you'll need to buy your own oil and spices. There’s both AC and a fan. The place is in a safe-feeling area, directly across from a police station, and convenient to central spots by car. A stunning stay, highly recommended.

The host was so warm, and arriving and leaving were both easy. The place was exactly as shown in the photos and really clean. Great value for every penny.

Mr. Shan was friendly and ready to help while we were there for a couple of days. The place is handy for Chamarel and Le Morne, and we'd definitely recommend it as a base in the south or southwest of Mauritius. Our room was roomy, and the bathroom was clean, spacious, and had hot water. There’s parking on the property for 3-4 cars, plus WiFi, AC, and a TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, so cooking just about anything is possible.

Mr. Schan was a star throughout our 10-night stay. He replied promptly and connected us with a local car rental company that worked out great. When the kitchen tap had a problem, it was replaced the next day. Our room was cleaned daily except on holidays. Really good value and a great experience, highly recommend.

We spent three nights here while travelling around the island and had no complaints. It’s spacious and an easy walk to restaurants and a supermarket. For trips beyond La Gaulette, having a car would be a good idea. A great west coast stay, thanks!
