The large terrace was one of our favorite parts of staying at Butterfly Apartment in La Gaulette. It has a breathtaking sea view, just right for morning coffee or a drink at sunset. The apartment itself is spacious, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. The area is peaceful and suited us well when we wanted to unwind, while Le Morne’s gorgeous beaches are only a short drive away. They’re among the island’s most beautiful, and great for beach days and water sports. Devanand and his wife made the stay especially memorable. They were kind, attentive, kept the apartment spotlessly clean, and made us feel welcome and cared for. We’d wholeheartedly recommend Butterfly Apartment for comfort, peace, and Mauritian hospitality, and would love to return someday.
