Residence Les Alizes

The people in Mauritius were so kind and welcoming, and that includes everyone at Résidence Les Alizés - Hibiscus. The team was always available and clearly put a lot of care into looking after guests. They arranged our rental car and some great excursions at good prices. We took the dolphin tour, which was magical, with a top team. We'd happily stay at Résidence Les Alizés - Hibiscus again if we return. Our Hibiscus accommodation was gorgeous and very clean. It’s well placed for sightseeing: Le Morne Beach is about 10 minutes away by car, Grand Bassin Hindu Tempel and Chamarel 7 Coloured Earth Geopark aren't far, and the supermarket is under a three-minute drive. La Gaulette also has good restaurants. We tried four and loved the food at all of them.

We found the apartment clean, well organized, and stocked with loads of kitchen accessories and everything we needed. At first we worried that the street might be noisy, but even that turned out to be quite quiet. A pleasant stay, and we'd definitely book again!

The staff were lovely and helpful, and Guillaume checked in with us after the first night to see if everything was okay. The apartment was clean, great, and just as nice and new as it looks in the photos. Don't miss the massage they can arrange, it was superb. Excellent experience. If you're staying in la Morne, this is the place to enjoy your holiday.

Melani and Guillaume were incredibly supportive and helpful. They really want guests to have a good holiday, and we certainly did. Les Alizes is also well placed for the main sights in the south and easy to reach from Le Morne and Flic en Flac beaches. We liked having several restaurants within walking distance, and the nearby La Gaulette supermarket is well stocked. My husband and I had a fantastic three weeks in Hibiscus. It was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, with bedding and towels changed frequently. After a day out, we loved coming back and cooling off in the pool. We highly recommend Les Alizes.
