Paradisia Holiday Inn

Yash was quick to arrange a car for us and did it without any hesitation. His prices on cars and scooters were the best we found in Mauritius, and he welcomed us warmly. Thanks again, Yash. I'd gladly recommend him if you need transport for your trip.

Yash and his family made this stay especially memorable. He was a very caring host and organized several activities during our time in Mauritius: airport pickup, a full-day sightseeing trip around the South, and an outing to nearby Ille Aux Cerfs Island. The apartment's location is handy for a budget stay in the South. The public beach is about a 10-minute walk, there's a supermarket run by Yash and his family attached to the apartments, and restaurants line the main street. We'd had doubts after seeing the photos, but those disappeared when we arrived. Our room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, an attached kitchen stocked with what we needed to make breakfast or dinner, and a very clean bathroom. I can be quite particular about hotel bathrooms, so I was relieved to find this one so neat. Hot water was available around the clock. We had a wonderful, memorable stay at Paradisia Holiday Inn :)

We came back more than twice, and on one stay they even treated us to a tasty dinner with appetizers and some very nice wines. The evening got even better with two local musicians playing and getting us to dance. The food was lovely too. Breakfast was available on request, with fresh juice and local fruit such as mango in summer and pineapple (ananas), along with scrambled eggs and other things. The place is right in the center of the village, with easy access and about a five-minute walk to the seaside. You get a local feel and can mix with people from the village. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was exceptional. They can arrange tours, help you get to Ile aux cerfs islands, and rent out cars and scooters. The air-conditioned options include single apartments or studios, two-bedroom apartments, and three-room apartments. All had a well-maintained kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. Highly recommend.

The owner was especially hospitable, easily a five-star welcome. The place is clean, tidy, and well maintained, with a convenient location surrounded by amenities where it's easy to find almost anything.
