We felt at home right away during our relaxed four-day stay with Annalisa in her immaculate Italian styled villa. The spacious unit had everything we needed, and Annalisa was a wonderful host who paid attention to every detail. It was extremely hot, so we made plenty of use of the sparkling pool, and we loved watching the sunrise from our private balcony. We walked into the village at least once a day, and twice went further afield using the bicycles provided. The bus stop is 100 meters away, and we took the bus up the coast to Palmar Beach and to the market in Central Flacq. Can highly recommend!

We got lucky finding La Maison Soleil for our last 2 days on the island. Lovely owner, place, and location. If you're visiting Mauritius, I very much recommend it. The positive reviews really are true, and I'd ignore anything under 4 stars.

The rooms are clean and furnished with care, and the garden and whole place feel peaceful and lovely. The landlord is a kind, caring woman. Breakfast is optional and tastes very good, and the room prices are reasonable. It's a great place.
