The employees were very helpful, and the place itself is great, but we ran into a few safety problems. Some of the planks around the pool weren't properly fitted. We noticed and put a chair on one so nobody would step there, as it could have caused injuries. There were also pieces of glass in the pool. We first thought it was sand, then realized it was glass, and we hurt ourselves on it. The shutter key kept breaking. We were told it had happened three times already, so some warning or instructions on how to use it without breaking the key would've helped.

It was a really quiet place to stay, and there were lots of great views. Very nice.

The villa was spacious, elegant, well equipped, and in an ideal location. It felt peaceful and comfortable from the start. John welcomed us warmly and was always ready to help, which made us feel at home. Priscilla cooked generous, delicious meals with Mauritian flair all week, and Frida kept the house and our rooms spotless with real professionalism and discretion. We had an unforgettable week at Villa Fauverelle. Thanks to the whole team for such an idyllic stay. We’ll definitely come back.

Frida, Priscilla, and John took such good care of us, always with kindness and cheerfulness. Everything else was spot on too, from the welcome and organization to the cleanliness and breakfasts. A huge thank you to all three.
