Suraj and Rahul Kumar took great care of us at the bar, making sure our drinks were just right and that we felt looked after. At meals, Aditya and Raven were efficient, professional, and always smiling, which made the food service a pleasure. The hotel was clean, relaxing, and beautifully designed, and the food was consistently good, with plenty of well-prepared choices. From the moment we arrived, the whole team was welcoming and helpful. Their care, along with the setting and food, made our stay memorable. We look forward to coming back. The location worked well for us, close to the beach and not far from the Grand Baie atmosphere. We rented a car. Our room was spacious and good, but the soundproofing was poor. At times, outside noise and sounds from the next room came through clearly and made things uncomfortable. We had one of our best stays by far, thanks largely to the friendly, thoughtful staff and amazing service. Dev made check-in a great experience, Suraj made fantastic drinks at the bar, and Manish and Revin made our meals delicious.

The food selection was excellent, with so much to choose from each day, and our room was comfortable, clean, and cleaned daily. It had tea and coffee making facilities and a mini-bar fridge. The staff were welcoming, polite, respectful, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, and we’re taking away a lot of happy memories. Management also helped sort out a few minor problems, and after that everything fell into place for a really relaxing holiday. The accommodation was very comfortable and the whole hotel was clean. Thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable. We’d certainly recommend Ocean V Hotel.

We booked directly with Ocean V Hotel a few weeks ahead for October 15 to 19, 2025. Our B&B booking included a Senior Suite with lots of space, a large bathroom, bathtub, and a breathtaking sea view from the balcony. We really enjoyed the breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. Several advertised facilities weren’t available while we were there. I chose Ocean V mainly because I’m a big fan of Asian cuisine and wanted to try Manzu Restaurant, but we were told on arrival that it was closed for renovations. The ground-floor coffee shop was out of service too, and the spa was closed, with treatments available only on request. That was disappointing, since we booked directly and expected access to all the facilities. I emailed reservations on October 15 and got an acknowledgment on October 16 saying they would get back to me. I still never received a response. I strongly suggest updating the website with the current status of amenities so future guests can make an informed decision before booking.
