Le Secret de Jasmin

The pool was one of the main reasons we chose Le Secret De Jasmin, but it wasn’t working, and we only found out when we arrived. We had to look elsewhere for somewhere to swim, which was an unnecessary hassle. The breakfast was a letdown too, with food we found inedible, and the service was poor. The property in Grand Baie is in a promising location, but it was astonishingly dirty, with no visible signs of regular cleaning. Staff seemed disinterested and had trouble communicating effectively. There was also a lack of basic amenities. After seeing the glowing online reviews, I was shocked by how different our stay was. I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant, comfortable stay. It’s disheartening to see such a beautiful location let down by poor management and a lack of attention to detail.

Even on a modest budget, this hidden gem felt like a lavish retreat. The standout for me was the extraordinary breakfast served in the pool, an indulgent experience beyond my expectations. Staff were so welcoming and attentive that I felt valued and pampered throughout the stay. A memorable getaway without compromising on quality.

I felt completely at peace at Le Secret De Jasmin. The concierge service was excellent, and the spacious rooms, pool area and outdoor facilities all added to what was my best stay ever.

The owners took care of every request, including our short-notice plan to get married at the hotel. They arranged everything so quickly and were amazing. The room was beautiful, just like the picture, and the food was fantastic. They gave us a complimentary cake and bottle of champagne, and the owner even took photos and videos for us. Lovely people and a great location. We’d definitely stay there again.
