LUX* Grand Baie

The Bubble Breakfast at Bisou was one of the most unforgettable parts of our stay. The beautiful setting and atmosphere made it feel like a dream. I can’t remember the name of the staff member who served us that morning, but I’d really like to thank them. Their kindness and attentive service made it even more memorable. Every staff member we met at LUX* Grand Baie was incredibly warm, kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We’re so grateful for the hospitality and hope to return someday. Highly recommended!

We came back to LUX Grand Baie* for a peaceful break after a very busy end-of-year schedule, and it exceeded our expectations again. Even as locals, the calm atmosphere and thoughtful service make us feel as if we’re on holiday abroad. This kind of refined, relaxing hotel experience is just what we want at this stage of our lives. Mr. Vikram gave us a warm welcome and was professional, kind and genuinely caring. Jamie, with her constant wonderful smile, brought so much positivity. At reception, Avishka and Brinda were always helpful, efficient and attentive. Mr Dusoye from Beach Rouge Restaurant made sure we were well looked after, and Oliver, the rooftop restaurant manager, consistently made sure we had an excellent dining experience. A heartfelt thank you to the whole team and all the waiters. Your dedication and hospitality made this stay special. It will remain a beautiful memory, and we’ll definitely be back.

Christopher at concierge at LUX* Grand Baie has made our holiday so memorable. From day one, he’s been patient, professional and genuinely caring. He arranged our transfers and tours, helped with bookings, made calls for us and explained everything clearly. He’s always ready to help with a smile, and nothing feels like too much trouble. He truly goes above and beyond to make our stay seamless and enjoyable. We’re grateful for everything he’s doing.

The food was a big part of what made our 4-night stay so memorable. We loved the romantic dinner and beach dinner, both at extra cost, and the beach dinner was perfect. The Moroccan restaurant (walema) served amazing, authentic-tasting food. It wasn’t part of our half-board meals and cost extra, but was worth it. The bubble breakfast was more ordinary, though the infinity-pool view made it a nice experience. I also appreciated the bidets in the bathrooms. We booked the honeymoon package, which was amazing and made the stay feel special from the start. Staff were welcoming, kind and always smiling, and the hospitality made us feel comfortable and well cared for. There were a few small snags, but nothing ruined the experience. The room AC wasn’t working properly at first, and I had to call reception twice before it was fixed. Sometimes I had to call more than once to reach the receptionist, which I think may be because they deal with so many guests each day. Some extra honeymoon package charges weren’t clear beforehand, but I enjoyed it so much that I didn’t mind paying in the end. A fantastic stay, and I’d happily recommend the hotel to couples and honeymooners looking for warm hospitality and lovely dining.
