The restaurant is small, and there aren't any local shops within walking distance, so eating out elsewhere is the better option. We also found that visitors were subject to restrictions. We booked for summer 2024 because the photos looked amazing, but arrival was a nightmare: our names weren't on the security gate system, so we couldn't get into the complex. Reception was closed that Sunday afternoon. After calling TUI back in the UK and being stranded outside in the heat for three hours, we were told we could enter, but would have to wait another hour for the hotel.

In June, hardly anyone was using the impressive pool since it was low season, and we could walk straight from the apartment into it. It's lovely for children, though the beach is so close that most people will probably head there. We were a family of four adults staying for two weeks. The apartment was beautiful and clean, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a very well-equipped kitchen. Our TV was mostly in French on Canal +, even though we're British/Mauritian, but we don't come here to watch TV! There was 24-hour security and plenty of parking. A car is necessary, though there's a bus stop nearby and the beach is walkable. The supermarket is a little farther away, while restaurants are about a 10-minute walk. You'll have more choice with a car. The on-site restaurant was closed, which was a shame, though we'd been told in advance. If it had been open, we might have got to know our neighbours in the other apartments. The agent answered our questions very quickly.

We deliver vehicles there often, and our clients are very happy with their stays. It's a cool place to stay, with the beach just a two-minute walk away. Our car rental service also makes it easy to get to Grand Baie.

I spent the day there and had a wonderful time, relaxing by the pool with a tasty cocktail and some lovely food. It's a peaceful, serene spot for taking a break from the daily hustle and bustle. The friendly staff took some photos, and I've included them here. I'd definitely recommend it for a day of unwinding.
