After an 11-hour flight, we arrived to check in and were told our reservation had been cancelled, even though it hadn't. We spent two hours on the phone with Booking.com before management authorized a refund. At 10 pm, we then had to find another hotel. The helpful security guard assisted us and got us a taxi, which is the only reason I'm giving one star. The hotel should have contacted us ahead of time. Never again.

The view was beautiful, and I liked the passion fruit juice with strawberry syrup. That was about all I enjoyed. The food had no taste, service was very slow, and the staff either didn't know the menu or answered “no” or “I don't know” to what I asked. Someone said they'd check with the chef and come back, but never did. I live a long way away and visited before my baby was born because I was craving seafood and beef. The staff really spoiled the experience and our wedding anniversary celebration. I'm not going back.

The garden was full of birds, which made the place feel like a peaceful escape, and I had a massage that was exactly what I needed, very relaxing. There’s also a big pool, a lovely spa and a great gym. Everything felt clean, spacious and well organized, with a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere that still had some life to it. The location is great too, close to the beach and lots of nice restaurants. A wonderful stay.

The staff made our family holiday feel special, especially when they went out of their way to arrange a birthday party for my daughter. The waitresses were friendly and made each day a lovely experience, and the food was delicious and nicely presented. The hotel is neat, clean, spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. Everyone was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Thanks to all of you for making it such a beautiful holiday.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we really enjoyed its spa. My husband and I had a couples massage, the best we've had so far, and also got a very good facial. The staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend.
