Ile Des Deux Cocos All Inclusive Resort

The island is beautiful, the service was great, and the food delicious. We had a lovely three-bedroom villa, though at 5000€/night/couple it was very expensive. The white sand beach looked lovely, but there were lots of corals in the water. Walking there could be unpleasant or painful, especially for younger children and toddlers. I’m comparing it with the amazing beach at lux grand baie. The facilities were a big drawback. The toilet flush didn’t work, and there were no dedicated changing rooms with towels or bathroom amenities. I’d have thought those were obvious things to provide, especially for a 5* brand like Lux on a private island where it should be easier to control and keep things clean. The lunch buffet was meant to run from 12:30-14:30, but they began taking dishes away at 14:10.

The clear, shallow water was great for swimming and snorkeling, especially for the kids. We enjoyed the island walk and taking time to watch the waves crash. The buffet and drinks were a nice treat. A great family escape, highly recommend.

A special mention to Rajeev, Reaz, Saira, Mike, and Stephan from île aux deux Cocos. The location is well preserved, and the attention to detail and service are excellent as always. See you again very soon!
