The rooftop entertainment space is a real highlight, with a Jacuzzi and room to barbecue or have people over. I’ve stayed at Sunshine Residence Post in Lafayette twice now. The ground-floor apartment was very clean and comfortable, and its pool is for the unit’s exclusive use. It’s on Mauritius’s east side, though the north and its attractions are easy to reach too. I highly recommend it.

Penny was attentive and helped with all our questions, plus shared contacts and ideas for places to see around the island. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic stay in the Sunshine Residence apartment. It’s by the beach but still quiet and tucked away. The apartment was really nice, with air conditioning, cooking facilities, a pool, good Wi-Fi, and a smart TV. Thoroughly recommend it!

The apartment was new and really beautiful, and we all enjoyed our stay. Mr &Mrs Penny Jones welcomed me, my wife and the whole family so warmly, and Mr Ramesh was very kind and helpful. We had a great time at sunshine residence. We didn’t manage to use the pool or jacuzzi, unfortunately, but I’d highly recommend renting this place.

We really appreciated the hosts’ thoughtful, heartfelt care during our stay, and wish them many lovely guests ahead. The apartment was spacious, with a beautiful view of magical tree. Fresh renovation, art on the walls, comfy bedding and all the amenities made it a pleasant place to stay. The big kitchen and living room had what we needed, along with dedicated workspaces. With a car, exploring the whole island was easy, and there was plenty of parking downstairs. The rooftop was great for sunbathing any time of day. A cozy café with delicious food was just around the corner, and the entrance to a stunning national park was a short walk away.

Penny looked after what we needed and shared tips for diving, boat trips, beaches and restaurants. The apartment was clean and well equipped. A good pick for a few days exploring this side of the island.
