Azuri Apartment with Beach, Pools, Gym, Restaurants, Spa, Boats, kids Corner

The bay is reached by a secluded path, and the location is great. The water near the beach can look a little brown at times, apparently because of currents coming from the river mouth to the left of the apartment. There’s a good pool and gym, and the complex is quiet, though construction was underway when I was there in 2018. It’s a long way from the airport, and you’ll need a car to explore other areas.

The sea view and surroundings are nice, and the apartment has plenty of equipment and furnishings. But it feels worn and poorly maintained, with old furniture and equipment, and really needs renovation. The beds are much too small and should be at least queen size. I wouldn’t say it’s ideal for young children, since noise isn’t well tolerated.

The daily cleaning and management of the unit weren’t impressive. Bring your own toilet paper, since the amount in the apartment at check-in is all you’ll get. That’s what the assistant managers told me.

It didn’t feel like good value. The villa was very hot when we checked in, and the air conditioning should have been switched on beforehand. One unit didn’t work, one pillow was filthy, a tap was broken, and some of the towels were dirty.
