The beach was an easy walk away, with great snorkeling nearby and plenty of dinner spots within walking distance. The hotel also arranged several excursions for us, so we didn't have to manage the planning, and they knew the best places to go. My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was lovely, and it was cleaned every day. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and owners Gert and Marlene were among the nicest people we've met. We'd happily stay here again next time. Thank you!

I was glad to find a free beach bag waiting in my room since I'd forgotten mine. Valerie was also very helpful with all my questions, about the hotel and everything else. It was my first solo trip, and choosing this hotel in Mauritius worked out really well. I got an early check-in around 9 or 10 in the morning and a very late check-out. On half board, I looked forward to dinner every night. The food was delicious, portions were good, and over 10 days I never had the same meal twice. Breakfast was good too. I didn't use the pool because the beach is nearby, and I booked all my tours through the hotel. I looked around and couldn't find a cheaper place to book them. The other guests were lovely, and sharing meals and talking about our different trips was great. There's also a diving center on site, which would suit divers, and a wellness spa that I didn't try. Very good value for money, and I'd recommend it.

After attending a wedding in the north, I didn't want to drive back, so I stayed here for two nights. The whole team made me feel at home, away from home, and I want to thank them for that. The food was excellent, the service was wonderful, and it was good value for money. Special thanks to Mrs Valerie and Mr Hans. This is a gem I'd highly recommend.

Dinner was three courses of delicious home cooking, hearty and tasty. The massages on site were incredible too. La Tonnelle has a relaxed feel, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. It's right on the beach, with a supermarket, pharmacy, and lots of great restaurants just a short walk away. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

The guest house faces the sea, and the beach is just a five-minute walk away. Restaurants and a bus stop are right next door. My husband and I had such a lovely stay at La Tonnelle. Jean Noel welcomed us warmly and took great care of us, and owner Mr Gert made the place feel like home. Every dinner from the top chef was a surprise. I loved the food, especially the vegetable lasagna, which I'll always remember.
