Villa Emita Trou aux Biches Beach Appartement

I regret booking this place. The owner was arrogant and unprofessional from the start, with no respect for guests. When we arrived, the house was shockingly dirty. The sheets didn’t look properly changed between guests, let alone ironed, and there was no spare toilet paper, soap or other basic supplies. There were no dishes or cutlery either, so we had to buy our own just to eat. The apartments at the back were just as poorly equipped, with no cutlery or sheets and tiny, uncomfortable beds. The air conditioning stopped whenever we opened or closed the door, and we had no hot water. Privacy was another major problem. Foreign Indian workers were in the yard all day, staring and making noise, so it was impossible to relax, sunbathe or even walk peacefully without feeling watched. It felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The owner’s husband also kept a boat blocking the way, leaving almost no room to walk. He repeatedly started its motor to make noise and show off, even though it wasn’t being used. The place was dirty, uncomfortable and noisy, and the people managing it were arrogant. By far the worst place I’ve stayed. Do yourself a favour and avoid it.
