The view from the villa is lovely, and Marie can make delicious meals. Getting there means using a narrow road, though. It was also noisy around us, with music from the neighbors, crowing roosters and, most of all, barking dogs. You can hear it in the video.

We had such a good time at Villa L'Escale in May 2022 that we're already looking forward to returning. The terrace, garden and pool were wonderful spots to enjoy some beautiful sunsets. Inside, the villa was comfortable and well cared for, and Marie's cooking was delicious. She brings such a joyful energy, too.

Marie and Ken kept the house in great condition, and it was quiet during our November stay at L'ESCALE. Marie is a real gem. A big thank you to her, and I'd happily recommend the villa.

We booked for a week but managed to stay only three nights. The neighbors' dogs barked all night, and the damp house had lots of little animals we didn't care for. The pool was filthy, too, so the idyllic photos are misleading. For the same price, you can find nicer hotels with half-board if you want a decent vacation.
