The staff were the real standout for us: warm, polite, professional, and so helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel. It felt like very good value, and the rooms were clean with a relaxed atmosphere. The location worked well with our rental car, since almost everything was within about an hour's drive. We didn't use the airport pickup, though the hotel offers it. The infinity pool was lovely, clean, and well kept, with two sections and regular water rather than seawater. The beach is mostly sandy, with three comfy mattress beds under the bar/restaurant area and sun loungers right by the beach. For snorkeling, this isn't the place to come. There aren't coral reefs and there are very few fish. The sea is often windy and has bigger waves, which can be fun for swimming and playing in the water. You may see a few fish by the stone reef at the side, but the waves limit visibility. We stayed 11 days on half board. Breakfast and dinner were buffet, with à la carte depending on the package. Evening drinks weren't included in ours, though that varies by booking. There was plenty of tasty variety, and we didn't get tired of the food. The hotel has its own golf course, with transport available or the option to drive a golf cart yourself. There’s also a spa with lots of treatments, and drinks can be brought right to the beach. The gym was unavailable due to water damage, but they offered access to one in a nearby shopping mall and a transfer if wanted. We also got an entrance ticket to the zoo/safari, which was a lot of fun. We'd happily return.

The team made our visit really special. Janice, Aryan, Shane, Yavishnu, Ashwin, Saahir, Jean Christophe, Karishma, Jeena, Baryan, Jeenyla, Kyran, Rimina, and Shanon all deserve a big thank you. Reshmee kept our room spotless and was always warm and friendly, and Kernel drove us safely and comfortably throughout. Service at meals and whenever we ordered drinks was especially attentive and courteous. We rarely experience that level of care. The restaurant manager even arranged non-alcoholic prosecco at short notice when it wasn't initially available, one of many examples of the team's customer focus. At reception, everyone was friendly and quick to find solutions, whether answering questions or arranging taxis. The food was excellent too. We had half board, and breakfast and dinner were consistently fresh, varied, and plentiful. We were satisfied throughout our stay at Hotel Tamarina and would love to come back.

Sunset is the best part of the view at Tamarina Hotel. Sitting with an aperitif as the sun goes down feels special. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic, a lovely place to unwind and enjoy the end of the day.

The Tamarina Golf Course was a pleasure too, quiet, well kept, not too crowded, and with interesting holes. This small Boutique Hotel sits beautifully at the far end of a long, gorgeous beach. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner beneath the trees, with sand underfoot and an ocean view. The staff were so friendly, especially Jenice, Elodie, Ali, and the others we met. I highly recommend this place.

We especially enjoyed the relaxed feel and the food, and getting a free ticket to Casela Nature Park was a great bonus. Exploring the wildlife and trying some of the activities became a highlight of our trip. Tamarina Golf & Spa Boutique Hotel is in a beautiful spot between the mountains and beach, with a peaceful, secluded feel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and our spacious, comfortable room had everything we needed and a lovely view. A great choice whether you’re there for golf, nature, or just to unwind.
