We had a birthday weekend here, and the staff were so kind. Daniel from the kitchen set up a lovely table and cake, and even brought breakfast to our room. The spa by the beach was nice, and the treatment was good. Akilesh from boat house was very helpful. The food was lovely, and the bedroom balcony had a stunning view. It's a small hidden gem with a nice ambiance, close to the beach. A few things held it back for me. Extras that could make the resort superb all come at a supplement, including a table behind the bar by the beach. The restaurant menu can be limited if you have dietary restrictions. Checkout is at 11 am, earlier than the 12 pm time at other hotels, and late checkout costs extra when available. Parking is limited, so we had to park at the sister hotel across the road. More toiletries would be good. I enjoyed my stay, and a few little touches could make it superb.

The views are what bring me back, and this was my second stay at le Cardinal exclusive. It's my favourite hotel. The hotel, rooms, and pool were all so clean, and the food was amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly, especially the man at the bar. 10/10, I'd definitely come back!

The beach itself was full of stones, and I cut my foot. Walking or swimming there felt impossible without getting hurt. Guards also let children scream right by other people's heads and sunbeds, which made the holiday a disaster. We came for lunch and to rent sunbeds, though we're not hotel guests. Two days ago the beds cost 1000mrs, or 20 euro, and we rented them. Today a woman at reception, an Asian lady, laughed at me and asked for 3000ms, or 60 euro, for two beds. When I asked how the price could have tripled in two days, she just smiled at me and said, “Well, price changed”. The food wasn't nice, the portions were very small, and it smelled of old oil. The mocktail was terrible too. The whole experience felt disrespectful. I don't recommend it. Choose a better beach. All the best!

A big thank you to the restaurant team for making our birthday celebration memorable. We went on Sunday for the day package, and the beach bar setting was perfect, with a lovely sea view. The restaurant manager or supervisor that day was especially warm and welcoming, and very attentive to our requests. Everything we ordered was prepared and served nicely. The afternoon tea, snacks, and pastries were nice too.

I wouldn't recommend renting sunbeds here. The beach has sharp stones, the staff were unpleasant, and the sunbed price seemed to change every day. The lady at reception was very unpleasant.
