La Hacienda

The stained bedsheets and bed runner, plus a pool that could use better care, were the only downsides. We stayed one Sunday night in the 'Butterfly' villa, where Mr. Sameer greeted us warmly and showed us the room amenities. He also kindly gave us a late checkout, which we really appreciated. It was a peaceful mountain retreat surrounded by nature, just right for getting away from the rush of everyday life. The magnificent villa view and breakfast in a charming basket made the stay feel special. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and would recommend it to anyone after a quiet escape.

Those panoramic valley views from the hilltop are hard to forget, and the spot is peaceful, with good hiking nearby. The puppies who live there were a real treat for our children, too. Getting to the property takes some care. The hill is steep, so you'll want a vehicle with enough power and dependable brakes. Inside, the rooms didn't live up to the premium price. The furniture and appliances are dated and worn, and the rooms need maintenance. Ants and other bugs kept turning up during our stay, including among our belongings and on the beds. The views are spectacular, but the insect problem, tired amenities, difficult road, and poor value made the experience disappointing. If the scenery is your main priority and basic rooms with bugs won't bother you, it may suit you. Otherwise, there may be better value nearby.

The host makes promises I found dishonest, and repeated complaints in low-star reviews seem to have gone unaddressed. The place is hard to reach, filthy, and in a revolting state. There are insects and mice, a terrible smell, and dirty floors, walls, and tables. The furniture is very old, broken, and uncomfortable, and the conditions feel like a health hazard. Honestly, I’d feel safer sleeping on a sidewalk than spending even one night here. Avoid this nightmare.

Kavi kept checking that we had everything we needed, and the staff's kind attitude mattered more to us than the older kitchen equipment. We spent 10 days here for our honeymoon, surrounded by beautiful nature, with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. We can only recommend it. Thanks for helping make our honeymoon unforgettable. ❤️🙏 Veronika a Martin 🇨🇿
