We booked directly by WhatsApp and got a good price that included food. The meals were fresh, tasty, and they made sure there were enough vegan choices for us. We loved the breakfast, lunch, and dinner seating area too. Fato and Fatima were amazing hosts, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and cool, with two bottles of drinking water in glass bottles each day. They care about the environment and are working to keep the island cleaner. The house reef was lovely, and in January we could watch both sunrise and sunset from their beach. Bring mosquito spray and use it. For us, original Autan worked 100%. Thanks for a great holiday, we’ll be back.

The nature around Hangnaameedhoo Island is breathtaking, and it’s a lovely place to experience local life alongside its island charm. Bikini Beach is only a few minutes away for a swim. The staff are welcoming and the food deserves a thumbs up. Sharing a walk through the island with someone who appreciates it too made it even more special. God bless this island. 🌻

Dinner in the garden by the sea, with the lights on, made the meal even more enjoyable. The food was delicious and came in huge portions. The owner’s wife prepared different dishes each day, which is unusual in hotels, and we loved the variety. Ocean Beach Maldives on Hangnameedhoo has a welcoming, family feel and all the comforts we needed. It sits right by the sea, and the rooms were nice, clean, and well equipped. Service was attentive, and meals were served in a spacious courtyard where we enjoyed spending time in the evening. The hotel’s trips are worth trying too. They had a friendly atmosphere and ran smoothly. We’ve stayed at several places in the Maldives, and this is easily one of the best.

They cancelled our honeymoon stay at the last minute, saying there was some issue with the room not being ready. Their replies were rude, and they showed no concern for the disruption to our plans so late in the process. I found them completely untrustworthy. In response, they called me an Indian blogger trying to hurt the Maldives economy. I have no connection to India and have never been there. I’m Western European and married to a Latino woman. We were meant to spend our honeymoon here, and the cancellation came at the last minute in an extremely rude way. Stay away from this resort. There are malicious people behind it.

Fatuh and Fatima treated us with real affection and were always available. The guest house was very clean and well looked after, with everything we needed. When we had a request, Fatuh did his best to sort it out. Fatuh arranged a lovely birthday party for my husband in secret, and listened carefully to all my suggestions. We also got to enjoy some adventures on the boat just the two of us, and he organized an extra trip at the last minute when we asked. Fatima cooked local food with so much joy and passion. The guest house is five minutes on foot from Bikini Beach, and it also has its own nice sea view just steps away. We had a wonderful time and would gladly return.
