The rooms are quite new, spacious, comfortable, and clean, and breakfast was good. Everything on the island is within walking distance. The owner was fair and looked after us, while the staff were very friendly. They picked us up from the port and took us back, and the owner arranged our speedboats and handled everything for us. I’d rate it 10/10.

The staff were kind, full of heart, and brought such good energy. We had a great time on the excursions, seeing every animal, though we were lucky. The groups were small, and I’m really glad we booked with them. The beach BBQ setup was beautiful, and the BBQ on the desert island was spectacular. The food was delicious, the massages were very good, and I thought the hotel was perfectly placed on the island. There were some broken furnishings, so I’d take off a point for that, but they were doing their best and the trip was amazing. Thanks to Sands Grand Hotel for the service. It was the best trip of my life, and I’m definitely coming back in April. I recommend it completely.

Breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and the shared spaces were kept in good shape. The staff were warm, professional, and friendly, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I’d gladly stay again and recommend the place.

Sands Grand made the whole visit special, from the welcome at the port after our ferry to the birthday treats and our goodbyes. The team were friendly and accommodating, and they decorated our friend's room before we arrived and again on her birthday, with balloons and chocolate cake. Our room was cleaned every day, with fresh shower and beach towels and drinking water provided. Breakfast was great. The location was fine, about a 10-15 minute walk to the bikini beach, with tourist shops, food carts, and restaurants around the island. Booking excursions through the hostel was easy, and they were excellent value. A huge thank you to Ali Shaheen, the general manager, who has become a friend for life. We can’t thank him enough for his kind heart and warm soul. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to everyone. Thanks so much, Sands Grand! Aloha, Dhigurah xx
