The food stood out most for me. It was incredibly fresh, tasty and high quality, and the kitchen made clever use of leftover vegetables in curries, salads and fried dishes, so there seemed to be very little waste. Even with the island fully booked, it never felt crowded. It’s a small, lush place, full of mangroves, plants, flowers and birds, with lovely beaches and bars. The drinks selection is broad, though the All Inclusive card has fewer options than the other cocktail menu, and its cocktails are still really good. The staff were wonderful, always friendly, attentive and sometimes funny. A few even greeted us by name, and the housekeeping team made a personal connection throughout our stay. The beach bungalows are lovely, though some have a less ideal view. The Water Villas have direct access to the house reef, where we saw beautiful fish and other sea life while snorkeling. I’m absolutely coming back. This place feels like paradise.

One evening my daughter seemed to have an ear infection. Within half an hour, ear drops had been brought straight to our room. I’m so grateful for that kind of service. An incredible resort with wonderful service.

The diving center is good, and the waters around the island are full of all kinds of fish. The surroundings are astonishing, and the food is good.

We chose this resort soon after our wedding without much deliberation, and it gave us memories we’ll carry for a lifetime. The white sand and turquoise lagoon are breathtaking, and there’s a sense of peace and luxury wherever you go. The food was a real highlight: breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet were superb, with plenty of fresh choices that changed each day. For buffet food, it was surprisingly hot, too. We stayed in a water bungalow, which had a spacious living area and a huge bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and made the trip feel extra special. It’s a wonderful place in the Maldives, around a 30-minute seaplane ride from Male. I was a little disappointed by the cocktail options, but it didn’t spoil our stay or change my five-star rating. Highly recommended.
