The rooms were clean and the service was good, but they charge extra for everything. Even milk for the breakfast coffee costs extra, which I’ve never come across at a hotel before. Water is extra too.

The food was a highlight for us, with fresh ingredients and meals we enjoyed at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff were attentive and professional, helped with requests, and shared useful local tips. My fiancé and I spent three nights at Ocean Cove Beach Hotel in Hulhumale. We were welcomed warmly and everything felt comfortable and well handled. We left with lovely memories and would be happy to come back. A great place to unwind, with very good food and service.

Ocean Cove was close to the airport, and the food was great. We needed somewhere urgently for our family of five, and they responded quickly and fitted us in without increasing the price. The place was clean and comfortable, and the staff were welcoming and polite. Thanks for having us!

For 1500MVR a night, I expected better. The WiFi was very weak, and the door creaked and was difficult to shut. There was a cigarette in the toilet when I checked in, and there’s only one hairdryer for the whole hotel, with none in the room. There’s no elevator either. At 500MVR, I’d find it acceptable, but not at this price.

Fine for a short layover. The room had no view, though I was glad it had a window. Check-in was quick and easy, and staff paid attention to what I needed. The neighborhood felt safe, with all sorts of amenities within walking distance.
