Отель Pine Lodge Maldives

The Lodge is a minute’s walk from the beach, with lots of places to eat along the street. It’s in the developed city/island in maldives, and you can rent bikes or motors to get around and experience local life. The place was clean and nice, about 15 minutes from the airport.

I had booked a superior double, but there wasn’t one available, so they sent me to another hotel instead. The room they provided had no window, and the place felt like a motel. Way too expensive. Sucks!

Breakfast was good, especially the tasty meaty sausage and quality butter. The bread was toasted just right, and the sunny side up eggs were spot on, one overcooked for my toddler and one runny for me. The chef’s service was excellent. Our king-size bed was comfortable and we slept well. The room itself wasn’t a wow, and we couldn’t see the sea from the window, but the beach is just around the corner. There’s a bakery across from the hotel and a mini mart just across the alley for milk, bottled water, and drinks. Water pressure was low, though there was hot water. The basics were provided: towels, shower gel, shampoo, liquid hand wash, a hair dryer, and clothes hangers. There’s no lift, but staff were excellent and carried our heavy luggage up and down the stairs.

I reserved a twin-sharing room, but at reception I was told it was for one person only. The room wasn’t available, so they sent me to another hotel. THIS IS TOTALLY SCAM! PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS+
