We could barely rest in our room because construction noise started early in the morning and carried on through the day. The disturbance was far beyond what a guest should have to put up with. Running a hotel amid such heavy construction affects comfort and raises real concerns about safety and well-being. In my view, they should stop hosting guests until the work is finished so future visitors can have a peaceful, secure stay.

I felt misled by the payment. I was charged MVR 2,660 for a room that was meant to cost $140, which works out to about $172 at the current bank rate. I hadn't known about the exchange rate, and hotels should clearly show payments in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) using the official bank rate to prevent confusion or possible fraud. The room was also under maintenance and had no lift.

There was renovation work right next to our room, with hammering and work on the floor during the day and materials being hung upstairs at night. It looked as if they were adding a second floor, which felt a little scary. Inside, we found mosquitoes and flies, ants on the bed, and sand on the floor.

Check-in was smooth, and they let me into the room early. Breakfast didn't have many choices, but the food was good, especially the coffee. The room was very small, though the hotel sits beside beach road and the view was good. Renovation and expansion overhead brought a lot of noise and workers moving around; the balcony couldn't really be used because of the construction. The staircase was very narrow.
