What made the stay especially worthwhile was the professional, friendly staff who looked after guests and made things more comfortable. Thanks, Kath, Suhel, Nuzrul, Shamsud. Hope to see you again! I visited Maldives in February and stayed at Hulhumale’s Planktons Beach hotel. It’s by the beach and conveniently close to the airport, restaurants, shops, and local entertainment. The staff can also help arrange different day trips, including visits to island resorts. I felt it was good value for money.

The team made my partner’s birthday surprise come together, with the decorations and other things I’d requested. Katherine❤️, Kath, and her colleagues were so kind and helpful, and made everything easy for us. We felt at home from check-in, and my partner was happy, so I was too. We had a clean room and a comfy bed. Breakfast was great, and they brought it right to our room, which was really convenient. The ocean view is right outside your doorstep, and the location worked perfectly for us. Had an amazing stay at Planktons Beach, and we’ll definitely be back!

For getting there from the airport, a taxi is about 4 dollars, or you can take the 1 dollar bus, route 4 phase1, and get off at Central Park. There are several restaurants with local fish curries within a five-minute walk. This guest house sits on the beach road. The sea-facing rooms have tremendous panoramic views, and the beds are very comfortable, with quiet air conditioning. Service was excellent, and we enjoyed the delicious Maldivian breakfast on the veranda.

We were diving at shark tank for a couple of days, and this was a lovely place to stay. Our terrace room at the top looked over the beach, and everything was very clean and well furnished. The staff were superb and arranged a fabulous full-day trip to a local island with snorkelling. It’s handy for a few nights or before an early flight, with lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. As a group of girls, we felt safe in the Maldives the whole time.

We stayed one night before an early flight and had to leave at 06:30. They prepared a nice breakfast to go and made sure we had a taxi. The hotel is right by the beach, close to the airport, and there are some nice restaurants around.
