Three Inn Hotel

I was in Male for spine surgery and asked to leave my luggage at reception for a few hours while I saw a doctor. They refused, and late checkout wasn’t available either, even though booking sites showed empty rooms. With severe back pain, I ended up carrying my 30 kg bag to the hospital. I wasn’t asking for special treatment, but this was a very disappointing response. The location is good, and I won’t argue with that. The room was okay, but not especially clean or well cared for. There were lots of reminders about charges if anything was damaged, and the towels looked ancient. It felt like a business offering only the bare minimum, with a transactional attitude toward guests. If you have other options, choose another hotel.

Not recommended. Agoda showed a blank screen when payment failed, and refreshing changed both the date and price of my reservation. At the hotel, staff wouldn’t help and tried to charge double for an on-the-spot booking, or the price of a single room for me to sleep in a twin room with a friend. The reception smelled like someone was constantly passing gas, and the staff treated me rudely.

The receptionist wouldn’t give me the room key because the booking was under my friend’s name, and told me I had to wait for them to arrive, four hours later. I asked to speak with the Manager and explained that I knew the reservation name, while my friend was on a flight. The Manager said my friend needed to give permission, but neither the Manager on the phone nor the receptionist helped. The receptionist was rude and said, “I don’t need any explanation,” while I was trying to explain the situation. This was ridiculous. Customer service was zero, and the staff need training. They lacked professionalism.

I booked the Business Deluxe King room for a week and arrived at the end of August. It was fairly spacious, with a small desk for office work. A pretty excellent place to stay for foreigners, and I highly recommend it.
