Turquoise Residence by UI

The room was a bit cramped and had no windows or balcony, but it worked fine for a one-night stay. The beach is one building away, and they provided airport transfer. Staff were excellent, especially the Bangladeshi bhai brothers, who helped with information and guidance. Badhol bhai and the café staff member, whose name I forgot to ask, were both very kind. They got me into the room quickly and arranged an early airport transfer before 7 AM. Everything was on time and well organized.

Mr. younus kochi was especially kind and helped me whenever I needed something. He pointed me to a haircut place, a food hotel, a book shop, and the bus stop. On Friday morning, January 9, when I arrived, he gave me Bangla food, rice with meat curry. I was very impressed by his kindness. When I returned on January 20, they treated me with the same respect. Thanks to him and everyone for the great hospitality. I stayed four nights with my family. The hotel is very near the beach, and all the staff behaved very well. It’s a good hotel with amazing hospitality.

We only stayed one day because our resort booking started the next day, and we had no other option. It was a complete waste of money. They call it three-star, but there’s no lift and no Wi-Fi, and they charged an extra green tax even though we had already paid. The rooms are tiny, and the place looks like a slum. The staff were friendly, but the surrounding area felt unsafe to walk around, with disgusting people about. I’ll say it again, this isn’t a three-star hotel.

Mark and Badhol deserve special mention for their warm hospitality and excellent service. Some other staff members seemed uninterested and didn’t respond to my needs, so the service was uneven. I had a mixed stay at Turquoise residence, since certain staff went out of their way to make me comfortable while others seemed less enthusiastic.
