Athiri Beach made a thoughtful difference when my plans got disrupted. A weather delay meant I missed a night, and they didn't charge me for it. They also helped arrange a domestic flight to Malé on departure so I could avoid the risk of another speedboat cancellation. I was upgraded when I arrived, too, which was a lovely surprise. The place is clean and comfortable, and the staff are genuinely warm and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying each day. I couldn't do the whale shark, manta ray, or reef shark snorkeling trips because of an injury, which was a real shame, but I still enjoyed Dhigurah's relaxed feel and natural beauty. The pool area could be made more inviting. It's not a luxury resort, but it was a good base, and I'd love to return with fins next time.

The beachside setting and phenomenal view make this one of my favorite places to stay on Dhigurah. We had comfortable rooms, fast WiFi, and housekeeping came daily. On arrival, the staff gave us a clear rundown of the island and the excursions available. Breakfast was excellent too. A top choice if you're heading this way.

The staff were absolutely amazing and took care of every need. They booked our scooter, topped up the water, changed towels when we asked, and sorted transfers between places with no hassle. The rooms, though, are really dated and definitely need updating.

The room was good and it's a nice place to stay, but I don't think it is worth the price. The air conditioner and the room cooler were the only things I really liked. The ceiling fan wouldn't run at medium speed, the bathroom light was weak, and the WiFi signal was very poor. Excursions didn't seem well organized, and breakfast was very basic.

The room was clean and the location is very good, though the room felt a little dated. What made the stay uncomfortable was paying: the amount requested there was much higher than the Booking price, with extra fees described as taxes that hadn't been clearly explained in advance. We know taxes and extra charges can apply, especially in a place like this, but other guests we'd spoken with at nearby properties said they weren't charged the same way. These charges came to nearly 40% of our original booking price, which left the whole process confusing and unpleasant. The basics were decent, but be aware there may be unexpected costs.
