We loved the food, and the hosts were flexible and helpful with our special requests. They’re welcoming and respectful of your privacy. The rooms have air conditioning, hot water and very comfortable beds. At Eveyla, they can help arrange activities, and the island has plenty to do. Fulidhoo is a small, remote island, but it’s still quite accessible by ferry or speedboat.

Eveyla sits at the end of Fulidhoo’s single main road, with beautiful sea views just 10 steps away in either direction. The island is gorgeous, and the guesthouse has a lovely homey feel. We loved every moment and felt homesick as we stepped off the jetty. Nazim was kind, attentive and friendly, as were his sister-in-law and Ibrahim Sunil, who cooked delicious Maldivian meals for us every day. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well planned. Their hospitality and the village atmosphere made this a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The hosts were nice and the accommodation was okay, but I wouldn’t recommend the food. The Maldivian breakfast was just canned tuna with coconut and bread, nothing special. We ordered curry for dinner once, at 10 USD per person, and it was disgusting, very salty and from a can.

I stayed for three weeks and loved this guesthouse and its owners. The garden is beautiful, with a lovely view and a calm, pleasant atmosphere. I slept really well, and the place is suitable for vegans. The wifi was good, and the service and care were amazing. 100% recommend staying here. Thank you, Ibrahim & Doctor. I miss you already!

The rooms are good, but the food quality wasn’t up to the mark, and staff should be more generous with the portions. The place is also a long way from the bikini beach.
