The Pearl Seaview

One of the best, maybe the best, places to stay in Fulidhoo. The rooms were spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and everyone provided great service. Sunil was especially hospitable and helpful during our visit. He arranged a few activities without hesitation.

This was our third time in Fuildhoo, a beautiful little island in the Maldives, and we had a great time during our five nights here. Sunil was a fantastic host, always smiling and ready to help with anything. It's a laid-back place right on the beach. We had to leave very early for the boat back to Male, and he thoughtfully prepared takeaway breakfast for us. We really appreciated it. We'll be back. Thanks!

The breakfast was a mess. There was very little choice, and if we arrived after the group had eaten, leftover food was sitting uncovered with flies around it. Tables and floors were dirty, the dining room was in a dreadful state, and staff didn't replenish food or clean up after a group of more than 20. The hotel felt completely disorganized. The group itself made the stay uncomfortable. An 'Instagrammer' organizes guided tours here, and the large groups seemed to take over the hotel. They left few rooms available to other guests, crowded the small common areas and made them noisy and chaotic. Group members behaved as if they owned the place. There wasn't a single spot to sit, not even a spare chair or table, unless you stayed in your room. When we weren't out on excursions, which we didn't book through the hotel because the prices seemed high for the quality, we spent our free time at another hotel. They treated us wonderfully and even let us use their loungers. The facilities need serious upkeep, and the water pressure in the shower was uncomfortably low from the start. For one of the island's most expensive hotels, the quality was far below what the price suggests. With so many guests gathering at once around the tour schedules, the Wi-Fi barely worked. When it did connect, it was slow and kept dropping. I'd strongly recommend bringing a SIM card with mobile data if you stay here. A very disappointing stay, and absolutely not recommended.

The room was beautifully designed, with breathtaking views, and falling asleep to the soft sound of the sea felt like a dream. Each morning I couldn't wait to get out and explore the ocean with the great team @barefootmaldives. We had new, unforgettable experiences every day, from snorkelling with marine life to simply relaxing on the beach. The location, delicious food, welcoming staff and amazing activities all exceeded my expectations from the moment I arrived. My stay was magical. I'd highly recommend this guesthouse in Fulidhoo for a memorable getaway.
