The rooms were tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a peaceful spot in Fuvahmulah, good if you’re looking to get away from the city and a busy routine. The food was good too.

The people working here were the best part for us. They were accommodating, and nothing seemed to be a problem. We felt at home right away thanks to the friendly welcome. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the food tasted good. I’d definitely recommend staying here at night and spending the day diving with fuvamuhla diving school :)

Fuvahmulah is the Maldivian island nearest the Equator, and Veyli residence on Fuva makes big promises to divers, but fell short in a lot of ways for me. The rooms were spacious, though there was no hot water. With no chef on site, even getting breakfast was impossible, and room service simply wasn't available. Wifi was the one thing that worked consistently. They blamed the poor treatment on a recent change in management or ownership.
