We were greeted by three generations of the family with kurumba, and the team kept checking in during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and help with anything we needed. The charming little family-run hotel is close to gorgeous Mukurimagu beach. We’d love to return.

We had a great time at Calm Beach Inn. The rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and the beach is close by. The Calm Beach team were really helpful and kept everything well organized. It’s the best place on Gan island.

The guesthouse was a lovely place to come back to after exploring the area. There’s plenty to discover nearby, and the staff know the surroundings and the whole atoll well. Their helpful tips added a lot to my experience. It made a great base for seeing what the area has to offer.

The beach made our 10-day stay especially memorable. Its gentle slope is free of corals and reefs, and it stretches for 5 km. We had it to ourselves throughout the vacation. We also loved the palm groves, the road, cockatoos, and flying foxes. At Calm Beach Inn, we had a balcony and ocean view, and the room was beautiful. The hosts welcomed us with two coconuts and a delicious complimentary dinner on arrival, including Maldivian food and desserts. They arranged our transfers, including flights from Male, and gave us bicycles and a motorbike the next day. Since we’d never ridden one, they helped us learn. They answered our questions and suggested places to see, and even cooked Russian food especially for us. The food, fruit, and coconut water were all lovely. My husband and I had a fantastic holiday, and left completely satisfied with warm impressions of the hosts’ kindness and hospitality.
