Medhufaru Inn

We had a delicious continental breakfast every day, and the guest house is in a great spot near the beach and the nearby reef. The owner was so kind and helped us with everything, acting as our guide throughout the rest of the stay. Our room was freshly renovated, and all the equipment worked perfectly. It had a TV, fridge, air conditioning, hot water, and large, comfortable beds. They cleaned it regularly. Definitely recommend for a couple or a family with a child.

The bikini beach is a real highlight, and the island feels peaceful. We had an ocean view from the balcony and plenty of privacy. Melon from the hotel was so helpful with advice and arranging trips to other places, including snorkeling and floating boats. His photoshoots are a great way to keep the memories. Thank you, Medhufaru team, for such a wonderful experience.

The island felt very safe, including for women and children, and there's hardly any crime. I loved the peaceful setting, away from the crowds. There wasn't much light pollution, so the sky, stars, and moon were clear. If it didn't cost an arm and a leg, I'd come every month. The hotel and island locations both worked perfectly for me. The room was good, with no real complaints except the shower water pressure. Mr Milon was amazing: polite, friendly, helpful, and ready to sort out whatever you needed. The other two guys were great too, I think one was Mahir, and the funny cheeky one whose name I can't remember. Those three earned the service stars. I wouldn't recommend eating there. The chef doesn't seem to know how to cook, and the waiters don't know how to serve. I ordered grilled chicken breast and got a dry piece with no salad, sauce, or anything else. The biriyani wasn't biriyani either. Even the 2 quid version sold in east London is much better than what they called biriyani.

The food was the worst biriyani and other food I've had. They served fried rice with uncooked chicken and called it biriyani. The staff didn't listen when I asked for things and seemed not to care that I was a guest. They also told me I couldn't travel to any other island from here, which was a lie. The location wasn't good for me because I couldn't find anyone there, and there was no sea view like the pictures showed. For excursions, the prices on the menu were very high, then they said they'd give a huge discount. I had a very bad experience and wouldn't recommend this hotel.
