Wafir was a wonderful host, and the service and facilities were very good. We stayed for a full week and highly recommend the accommodation, but I’d book excursions elsewhere on the island, where there are several options. On our first day, a man related to the host approached us about booking excursions with him. The trips themselves were incredible, but he kept asking us to pay at the end of the week, then tried to charge us more than double the agreed amount.

Kaafu inn is very quiet, with only a few rooms, and has both a fan and air conditioning. We stayed for a week and loved it. Wafiru was so friendly, thoughtful, helpful, and polite. His wife is the best cook on the island, and the breakfasts were different each day and all delicious. When it rained, they left us an umbrella, and he brought us water every day. There was plenty of shampoo and gel in the bathroom. They really try to keep you happy and comfortable. We’ll definitely come back and stay with him again!❤️❤️❤️

We ended up staying here unexpectedly for one night, and I’m glad we did. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It’s close to the port, as well as some good restaurants and coffee shops.
