Athens View Guraidhoo Hotel

The staff were welcoming and quick to help whenever we needed anything. We found the rooms clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the peaceful atmosphere made this a lovely place to unwind. A great spot for a relaxing getaway, highly recommend it.

There were plenty of excursions available, and Milon was especially helpful in arranging them. I came with a friend and we were both comfortable in our room, which had a balcony. The location worked well for us too, close to Bikini Beach and the souvenir shops. I’d stay here again if I return to Guraidhoo.

The food is simple, so if you’re after more sophisticated dishes or a wider choice, I’d go for breakfast or half board, or stay somewhere else. That said, this is probably the island’s best budget hotel. It has great service and may be the only full-board option on the island, with shops and restaurants right next door.

Milon arranged a wonderful trip for us, where we saw dolphins, turtles, and other marine life up close. Lunch was included, along with dinner made with freshly caught fish, and we could even add drone photography. Back at the hotel, Milon, Nahid, and the very friendly manager Azim made us feel welcome from the start. Our cozy honeymoon room was on the third floor. The staff’s sincere care, down to the little things, made the stay feel special. It’s a lovely 3-star hotel with warm hospitality, and I’d recommend it for a heartfelt getaway.
