Six Senses Kanuhura

The people made this week especially memorable. Our GEM, Lucia, made everything easy, shared a lot of laughs with us, and made us feel connected. We’d return to a hotel just to experience her hospitality again. She’s a real asset to the business, and Six Senses is lucky to have her. Rosalina, our room attendant, picked up on our preferences and added thoughtful touches that made the room feel like home. When I spoke with her, her pride in working there was clear. Please keep looking after your team, because they’re the magic of the place. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive, and genuinely proud to be there. We’ve been to the Maldives ten times, and this was our most exceptional experience yet. The main island and its two smaller neighbors are strikingly beautiful. A pontoon boat runs between them, and visiting the smaller islands and having lunch at Drift was relaxed, beautiful, and unforgettable. It felt like finding a private paradise within a paradise. The water is incredibly clear and turquoise, the fine white sand is soft, and the shallow, calm sea seemed to go on for miles. The island feels both spacious and intimate, and its natural beauty feels abundant. The food was exceptional all week, with not a single disappointing bite. The chefs came from the home countries of their cuisines, including Spanish, Japanese, Italian, and local Maldivian, and the meals felt authentic to each place. The quality, creativity, and execution were flawless. We also loved the complimentary ice cream shop. The pastry chef deserves special credit, every dessert and pastry was refined, balanced, indulgent without feeling heavy, and truly world class. We run businesses ourselves and know how much exceptional people shape a brand. The setting, food, atmosphere, and especially the people made this an incredible week and a stay we won’t forget. We’re already looking forward to visiting your Ibiza and London properties later this year.

For our first trip to the Maldives, we couldn’t be happier that we picked Six Senses Kanuhura from all those hotels. The modern villas, soft white beach, warm and professional service, and amazing food made every cent worthwhile. We already can’t wait to return. For us, it’s the best resort, and when we’re in the northern Maldives, this is the only place we’d choose.

Traveling with a child who has celiac disease can be worrying, but the team prepared in advance, prevented contamination, and gave us safe, delicious choices every day. That brought us total peace of mind. Our GEM Sameeh was always kind, attentive, and there when we needed him, making everything easy from start to finish. All the staff made us feel welcome and well cared for. It was a peaceful, relaxing family stay on a stunning island, and we’ll definitely be back.

Paradise! Rajeeu, our guest experience manager, went above and beyond to make the stay fantastic. Jiten also deserves thanks for the breathwork and meditation classes. The meals were delicious, and the food and service staff were so kind and attentive. Andrew (Security Head) kindly made sure I left with my personalized bike licence plate. We had an outstanding stay at Six Senses.
