Sun Siyam Olhuveli Resort

With three islands to explore, there was plenty to do at the resort. We stayed in a water villa and really appreciated the privacy. The food was absolutely delicious and the service outstanding. Rohitha from Island Pizza left the biggest impression on us with such warm, kind service. Thanks, my friend, you're the best. This was the best vacation of our lives.

The people made our time at Sun Siyam Olhuveli especially memorable. Ms. Suzan Fernandez at the Lagoon Bar was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She made us feel welcome, suggested drinks, and checked in with a smile. Mr. Afu at the Dive Centre was calm, professional, and passionate about diving. He explained everything clearly and made our first dive feel comfortable and safe. Seeing the vibrant marine life with his guidance was a trip highlight. The island is breathtaking, with clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and private villas with beautiful views. Sunrises and sunsets looked like postcards. Everything felt smooth, luxurious, and thoughtfully arranged from the moment we arrived. The resort brings together natural beauty and heartfelt hospitality. We left with lovely memories and hope to return. Highly recommended for a Maldivian escape.

The resort feels like a little paradise, with magnificent wildlife under the water. We stayed in a Prestige water villa with a jacuzzi. Maybe it was a bit overkill, but looking at the stars from there was an experience. The app worked well for booking activities and restaurants, and a personal assistant contacted through WhatsApp replied quickly and smoothly. There was a small information problem around our Valentine's Day romantic beach dinner. A manager apologized and offered a complimentary bottle of wine. It turned out to be cider, but the gesture mattered most. We wanted a diving trip, but there weren't enough people for it to go ahead, so we only dived at the adjacent reef. The night dive was really cool, with lots of reef sharks. The staff and resort were nice, though restaurant reservations were a headache. We should have booked before arrival, since most places were already full when we tried.

Our honeymoon at Sun siyam Olhuveli went just as we hoped, and then some. We stayed in a Grand water villa with pool, villa 700s. Bushra helped from the start, and we had VIP treatment. Everything was easy to manage and book through the app or with her. Thanks to all the staff for welcoming us with a smile wherever we went, especially Al Ameen. We loved you! A few things for anyone planning a visit: the three islands are large and fun to explore, and free buses take care of the distances. There are plenty of pools, beaches, diving, and snorkeling activities, plus lots of daily events to check out. The hotel's own boat takes about 45 minutes to and from the airport. Food at the full-board restaurants was halal, but repetitive and mostly Asian-Indian, so it wasn't too satisfying for Arabs. Check the Maldives' dry and wet seasons before travelling. Highly recommended.
