Elysian Hideaway Maafushi

I stayed for one night and am still waiting for part of my payment back. At check-in, the staff had no change, so I paid extra after being told the balance would be sent to me online. When I checked out, management wasn’t available, and I was told the refund would come shortly. I’ve followed up several times, but the money still hasn’t arrived. The lack of response and accountability feels very unprofessional. I expect basic honesty, communication, and respect for what I paid. I’ve attached screenshots of the chats about the outstanding refund. Based on how this was handled, I can’t recommend staying here.

A lovely place to stay without spending too much, and you get a direct view of the beach. The staff were friendly and very cooperative. I really enjoyed my stay.

The staff are great, especially Mr Jihad. He was really kind and helpful.

It’s a simple, clean place, and we felt comfortable there. The bed was really comfortable too. They moved us to a room with a beachfront view and balcony, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was included and served at tables across the street, right beside the ocean. The staff helped us with our luggage when we arrived from the ferry dock, then took us back when it was time to leave Maafushi. It’s not fancy, but we were happy with our stay. Highly recommend it!
