Pearl Sands of Maldives Hotel

The meals were the weak point for us. Breakfast choices were limited and didn’t fill us up, and while dinner was a little better, the portions were small and there wasn’t much variety. The desserts were especially basic and sparse. Still, we really enjoyed our stay. The beach was beautiful, our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Anita deserves a special mention for being so helpful and making sure we had what we needed. The people and facilities made a real difference, though I do think the dining needs work.

There are restaurants and souvenir shops to wander around on the island, which is a local community, so please be respectful. The hotel also lets you book excursions like snorkelling and diving, and the spa has a good range of treatments. I’d recommend the Balinese Massage. The beach was just like a postcard, and we had a wonderful, unforgettable holiday. We enjoyed the food, too. With half-board, breakfast included juice, cereal or muesli, sometimes pancakes, eggs with sides, a traditional Maldivian breakfast, and different coffees. Dinner was four courses, with three main dishes to choose from and always the catch of the day. Finger food was available if you got hungry during the day. We also got some lovely birthday surprises that we’ll remember for the rest of our lives.

The rooms are clean and nicely finished, with big bathrooms and a balcony or patio in each one. Pearl Sands Maldives is a lovely family getaway, and the staff provide amazing service. There’s a large menu of scrumptious food. It’s pricey, but all of that made it feel worth the money 😁

The staff really made this hotel for us. Charlene and the rest of the front desk team, the restaurant crew, and the gentleman who helped arrange our boat trip were all fantastic. The rooms are spotless and well kept, and the beach is clean and cared for, with plenty of loungers to go around. The location is ideal, just a short boat ride from the airport, and the hotel team can easily arrange transfers. I’d highly recommend staying here and would happily return.
