White Sand Dhigurah Hotel

The White Sand team made us feel at home from the warm welcome onward. They were gentle, professional, and ready to help with any questions or problems. We went on several excursions with them, and each day brought a great experience. The island itself is amazing, especially the sandbank, and the guesthouse is peaceful and feels safe enough that there’s no need to lock the doors. Rooms are large and clean, and the hotel feels modern. I preferred staying here to a resort: we got such good care and could spend time with local people and learn about Maldivian culture. I’d absolutely recommend the white sand and will be back soon. Thank you guys!!! 💜

We spent a week here in January 2025 and loved it. The Wi-Fi on the ground floor was super fast, and both the staff and the rooms were lovely: everyone was welcoming, and the rooms were new and very clean. If we come back to this island, we’ll definitely stay here again.

We booked through Agoda and tried to reach the hotel three times over two weeks for advice on getting to the island. Nobody replied, which left us wondering what the stay would be like. We cancelled and booked next door instead, and that hotel was amazing, as I mention in my other review. When we eventually arrived in Dhigurah, the decision seemed justified. During the week we were there, we never saw anyone at this hotel's lobby. Someone was apparently staying there and sitting in it, but who knows, perhaps they’d just found a pleasant spot in an abandoned building. Don't let a hotel chain ruin your vacation when it can't be bothered to answer messages or keep anyone at the front desk, ever.

The staff were all really friendly, and the guesthouse was lovely. Strong recommendation.
