Island Ambience

Rakib made our first Maldives trip a really good experience. He shared helpful advice about food and water activities, arranged transport, and was more thoughtful than the service at the larger nearby hotels. Being able to communicate through WhatsApp was convenient too. Thanks for sorting everything out.

We spent four nights as a couple at Island Ambience and loved how clean and cute the hotel was. It was quiet, yet close to everything and away from the noisier tourist area. We didn’t see any mosquitos. The team were so warm and went out of their way to help. They even prepared early breakfasts for our trip days and before we left. Breakfast was delicious, and they lent us snorkelling gear and pointed us to a great agency for excursions. The whole stay was beyond what we expected. I’d absolutely recommend it if you’re going to Maafushi.

After travelling all day in the Maldives heat, I arrived to check in and found no one at reception. Several calls went unanswered. I walked around the island looking for somewhere else at the last minute, and only then did they call to say they would come back to reception. By that point I’d found accommodation. They eventually agreed to refund me, but I’m still waiting for the money. Terrible experience and poor business ethics. Avoid this place.

A quiet part of Maafushi, and a really pleasant stay. The boutique hotel is modern and clean, with bright rooms and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was freshly made and excellent, with everything we needed. The staff are what make the place special. They’re so friendly and happy to help arrange transport and book activities. I’d highly recommend it.
