Lagoon Lodge

The ocean view is beautiful, and the location makes it easy to reach markets, restaurants, and local shops selling cheap, delicious fruit like drinking coconuts and bananas. It’s also easy to get out for good snorkeling or diving. The rooms are spacious, the kitchen and food are amazing, and the staff are very friendly. A comfortable guesthouse, and I hope to see you again 🙂

The breakfast was a highlight, especially the fresh brown bread and delicious scrambled eggs. Manager Ahmed Didi and his small team looked after me so well and were genuinely hospitable during my three nights here. Lagoon Lodge is right by the beach in one of the most scenic parts of Hithadhoo, in the heart of Addu City’s administrative capital. I really enjoyed the stay and would happily return for another short getaway.

I loved the shared balcony and its amazing sea view. My room was cozy and had its own balcony too, and the staff were friendly. The food was great, and I really enjoyed my stay at Lagoon Lodge. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in the Maldives. Highly recommended! 🌴🌊

We found this gem while looking for somewhere to spend a few nights before going to Fuvahmulah, and felt welcome right away. The owner was incredibly kind, helped organize our stay, and arranged smooth transport to Fuvahmulah. Everything was handled easily and professionally. Meals were a treat. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the hotel, with fresh, flavorful dishes made with care. There was a great mix of local, Italian, and Indian-style food, and every meal was delicious. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was exceptionally strong and reliable, so I could work online without interruptions, a big plus in the Maldives. The reception is open 24 hours, and the warm, attentive staff were always ready to help with requests and make us comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back. To us, this is the greatest hotel on Gan Island, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting.
