Huvan Beach Hotel at Hulhumale'

We spent one night here before taking a boat to the next island. The hotel's small, but the staff were really nice and helpful. We ordered dinner and breakfast from the restaurant, and both were nice. The room was quite big, with space to open our luggage, and the hotel is in a strategic spot right in front of the beach. A few things could be better: the room only had one bath towel and one clothes hanger, and there was no toothbrush or toothpaste. It also didn't seem soundproof, because we could hear people talking in the next room. It would be good if they improved these things.

My husband and I had such a lovely six-day stay at Huvan. The food was superb, and the service was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful, always smiling and greeting us each day. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I'll definitely come back.

The staff were kind and helpful throughout our time in Hulhumale, and restaurants and shops were within walking distance. The hotel is right across from the beach, with an exceptional sunrise view. Airport transfers can be arranged on request, but they cost extra. I'd definitely recommend it. Thank you for the great experience. 💯

THEY CARE ABOUT YOUR MONEY, NOT YOU. They don't seem to understand that the CLIENT IS THE KING/QUEEN. After I confirmed my arrival details, they took 30 minutes to come pick me up at the airport. Then they told me to find their vehicle, and didn't even apologize. The room wasn't as described. The balcony was tiny and had no fresh air, and there was no hand wash in the toilet. The plug didn't work for charging my devices. The receptionist checked it and confirmed it was broken, but didn't apologize or offer to change rooms. Instead, he asked me to hand over my devices so he could charge them at reception and return them when they were full. When I refused, he moved a piece of furniture to uncover another plug, far from my bed. We found biscuits, a box of chips, and a coca in the room, and thought they were included. At checkout they charged us for what we'd eaten. It felt like a scam because nobody told us at check-in that those items cost extra. At checkout, I explained all this to a Bengali receptionist. He apologized and promised to complain about those employees to the management. To all fellow's: be careful about everything in Maldives.
