The restaurant at the hotel was amazing. We had breakfast and lunch there, and dinner on a few days. Ruwan, the food and beverage manager, was very professional and welcoming, and Ajith and Nalin from the kitchen served delicious, well-prepared meals. Jagath and Maduranga from housekeeping kept the rooms tidy and clean, making our stay comfortable. Thank you to the team for making each day special. We stayed at Mookai for 7 days in December and were extremely happy to find this gem in Male. We’d stayed in Male before, but this has become our favorite and we’ll definitely come back. The rooms were very clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

I’ve had lunch at the third-floor restaurant. The food is tasty, and the place is clean and efficient. The buffet has many Sri Lankan curries since the chef is Sri Lankan. Staff are friendly and helpful. At the time of my review, buffet prices started at mvr 85. Takeaway is available, and there’s also an à la carte menu at reasonable prices.
