Nala Maldives by Jawakara

Nala means beautiful, good, pleasant, and harmonious, and that really fits this place. The nature and the room were both nala, the food was excellent, and you can feel how much effort the team puts into making sure guests have what they need. The service felt warm and sincere, with a real eye for detail. A special thank you to the whole team, especially Sihan, who made us feel looked after and completely relaxed the whole time. I got to visit Nala during its grand opening week in December 2025 and was lucky to be among the first guests. We stayed for two nights, though I really wish we could have made it longer. Everything was amazing, from the food and villas to the service, and it was a fantastic way to end our trip to the Maldives. The lagoon around the overwater villas was stunning. One morning we walked through it to reach the restaurant for breakfast, which was a unique experience for me. We absolutely recommend Nala, and I’m honored to be the first person to review it on Google!

The staff really made the stay. Everyone was friendly, professional, and attentive, and any feedback or small things that needed improvement were handled quickly and positively. Special thanks to Shihan for the warm welcome, great service, and easy reservations; Fattah for being so friendly and going out of his way for guests; and Yassir and Lalith for the conversations and hospitality. Madan and Anoop made the best pancakes every morning. Our room was spacious, amazing, and very clean. The beach and pool were cleaned daily, which added to the comfort. The hotel is fairly new, and you can see it getting better day by day. Everything was well organized from arrival to departure, so the whole stay felt smooth and relaxing. Highly recommended!

The people at Nala made this trip so meaningful. Lalith, the Hospitality Chief, took a personal interest in the details and arranged a surprise for my 30th birthday that I’ll always remember. Shihan, our Island Host, handled bookings, anticipated what we might need, and kept everything running smoothly from arrival to departure. Mahe took great care of our Ocean Villa, with evening turndown, fresh water by the bed, and thoughtful decorations for special occasions. We chose Nala by Jawakara for our honeymoon and my 30th birthday, and it went beyond what we expected. The adults-only island is intimate, peaceful, and beautifully designed, especially for a newly opened resort. Our villa was spacious, private, and spotless. Meals across the island were exceptional. At Kumo, the Asian food was excellent, with thanks to Adam and Maeen. Milos served the best Greek food we’ve ever had, and Jumaan, John, and Sampath looked after us so well. Velu had fresh, beautifully presented food that was consistently high quality. Thanks to Faruk, Pandian, and Madan, along with Nihal and Devlin for the culinary leadership, and Hashi, Pyumi, and Kumari. Adaj deserves a special mention for the warmth, humor, attentiveness, and professionalism that made every meal memorable. Dinesh and the team made the bar a great place to spend an evening, and the drinks were excellent. The Bubbles Bar was well worth it, and Isha made my pre-birthday evening feel special. At the spa, Devi and Sonya gave us deeply relaxing, perfectly done massages in a breathtaking over-water setting. The spa, activities, sunset cruise, candlelight dinner, and Premium All-Inclusive concept all added to the carefree, luxurious feel of the stay. We’re grateful to the whole team and will carry these memories with us for a long time.
