Summer Beach Maldives

For a transit night, I couldn't have asked for better help. Hotel staff and the driver picked me up and dropped me off in a clean, nice SUV. Since I had an early flight, they packed breakfast for me to take along. There's a good rooftop restaurant, and the location in male city is the best. I never expected to give a hotel with a 10meter room five stars, but they really pay attention to guests.

The staff were very helpful and the service was good. The hotel is quite close to a mosque, so you hear the prayer sound often. My room was small, but fine for a solo trip. I chose a beach-facing room and got to see the sunrise. It was beautiful and worth it. Without that view, I don't think the stay would be worth it.

The food was good, though breakfast disappointed me a little. The rooms were clean and nice, with good beds and a great view.

The room pictures were misleading. The actual room was extremely small, more like a guest house than a hotel. The AC wasn't cooling when we entered, and the room was uncomfortably warm. A staff member confirmed the problem and cleaned the filters. Why hadn't this basic maintenance been done before we were given the room? The TV didn't work either. When we reported it, the staff member had to replace the remote batteries. We paid in full and expected the services to work, so these problems made a very poor first impression. I asked for some percentage of a refund to make up for the inconveniences. After several hours, they refused and said, "Any kind of refund is against our policy." Is it their policy to provide such disgusting services? At 12:15 AM, when we returned after dinner, they offered to move us, even though we were checking out early the next morning. We declined because changing rooms and moving all our belongings for a few hours made no sense. They then offered a complimentary lunch, which we also refused. We hadn't come for cheap offers instead of proper service. This was a disgusting experience with extremely poor management. The hotel lacks basic standards, professionalism, and accountability. I would never recommend staying here. Think carefully before choosing it.
