We got a room facing the ground area with an amazing view. The hotel is just steps from the beach park and overlooks the long bridge of Maldives, so it’s a great choice if you’re travelling with kids. It’s beautiful, very clean, and hygiene was visibly well maintained from reception through to the rooms. The staff were helpful and polite. Anfas welcomed us on arrival, helped right away with our luggage, explained the facilities clearly, and took us to our room without making us wait. For our 5:00 a.m. departure, the assigned receptionist arranged a taxi, and staff carried our bags until we boarded. Our stay exceeded expectations. We highly recommend it for the reasonable prices, hospitable staff, cleanliness, and convenient location. Fyi: we are Filipino and srilankan family

The staff’s friendliness was what stood out most. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and ready to help with a smile. Front Office service was smooth and professional, Food & Beverage service was excellent, and Housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping things clean and comfortable. The location is handy for getting to the airport and local markets, and the hotel’s high safety standards helped me feel secure. I felt well looked after throughout my stay at The Grand View Hotel. Plenty of eateries and coffee shops are nearby, and the location is convenient. But traffic getting there is a nightmare, and it’s always very noisy outside. My street-facing room window wouldn’t shut completely, leaving a gap of about half an inch. Some other rooms have no windows at all. WiFi and aircon worked. The rooms are very basic, and some are tiny. They don’t feel as accommodating as the name suggests, and the place is overpriced.

The location is okay, though the street to get there is very narrow and full of motorbikes. Rooms are small but have everything you need for a short stay, and the staff are really kind and helpful.

Right in the city, with local shops and restaurants close by, and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast and dinner were great, and I really enjoyed both. The staff were magnificent, all very kind and helpful, from the manager to reception and everyone else. I want to thank them for the warm welcome, especially receptionist Thisi, who made me feel at home. I’ll recommend this hotel to my friends and family. Staff, keep up the good work. Hopefully I’ll bring my wife and daughter to see you guys next year. Well done. 👍👍
