Water Cloud Mathiveri

Water Cloud in Mathiveri has a peaceful, relaxing feel, and the bright, open design with its natural sandy floor gives it a distinctive island atmosphere. It’s just a short walk from the beach and close to local attractions. The staff were attentive, friendly and professional. My room was clean and well kept, with the essential amenities, and the Wi-Fi worked reliably throughout the property. Breakfast was fresh and satisfying too. For its location, welcoming service and calm setting, I thought it offered great value. I’d recommend it to couples, solo travelers or anyone after a quiet island break. ⭐ 5/5

Turquoise water surrounds the island, and there’s a beautiful sandbank that people visit from other islands. Mathiveri was a lovely choice, and we hope to come back soon. WATERCLOUD is right by the beach, with spotless rooms and very kind staff. Every day, they brought us sunbeds and umbrellas in great condition, free of charge. That level of service felt exceptional, and we were probably the only ones on the whole island getting it. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. 🤩🩵

Ali, the host and owner, is incredibly kind and fun. He went out of his way to arrange activities for us, including manta rays, sharks and a beach setup. They really look after their guests at Watercloud. I had an amazing stay and highly recommend it!

The friendly employees and management made us feel welcome, and the rooms were comfortable and attractive. The beach is right out front, a major plus for a guesthouse, and Water cloud caught my eye while I was looking for a place in Mathiveri. It was a great stay. The recently opened guesthouse has a distinctive, nicely maintained interior. I liked the putty on the walls, and how the wood brown and white fit the surroundings. Every angle catches your eye. Rooms have air-conditioning, a smart fan, a large balcony with a coffee table and two chairs, spacious bathrooms with hot and cold water, a kettle, cups and coffee, bath and beach towels, and a minibar. Breakfast changes from day to day, and we really enjoyed staying here. It’s one of the best choices in Mathiveri, and we’ll definitely return. A couple of things could be improved. I wish the rooms had TVs and irons. We stayed three nights and four days and didn’t get room service. They asked on day three if we wanted it, but I declined since we were leaving the next day. Still, it was a great place to stay, and I hope to see improvements over time. I highly recommend Water cloud for a Mathiveri visit.
